Job Description
Our client is looking for a Paralegal to join their team! The Paralegal position demands a thorough understanding of legal principles, superior organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently within a fast-paced, professional environment in the Bucks County area.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
* Assist in the review and redlining of a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
* Manage contract edits, revisions, and version control across all parties.
* Monitor internal compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
* Support licensing and compliance requirements of the business, including that of its affiliates
* Develop, enhance, maintain and implementation of compliance procedures and internal controls.
* Research and resolve routine legal questions and issues, escalating when appropriate.
* Organize and maintain legal files, databases, and corporate records.
* Track contract, and related project, deadlines, renewals, obligations, and other key dates.
* Conduct legal and factual research to support ongoing projects.
* Draft legal memos, summaries, and correspondence for internal use.
* Work with internal teams to gather and submit information required for audits and regulatory subpoenas.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, and Operations on legal-related matters.
* Assist and/or lead various corporate transactions, audits(internal & external), and due diligence processes.
Bachelor”s degree in a related field required
* Paralegal certificate preferred
* 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department required
* Familiarity with contracts, redlining, and legal terminology
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
* Experience with accounting practices, business related mathematics, general corporate law and industry specific laws and regulations
