Company Description

The Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering Function is currently looking for a Project to support engineering projects related to cost savings and improvements in the product repair process. This position will support and lead projects in the Aftermarket Procurement Support Team and the Global Engineering community to improve business performance in 40 Aftermarket Services sites.
As a Project , you will be a part of a cross functional team with the responsibly to support and lead projects related to product repair processes across Aftermarket Sites which will enable business functions to make improved financial and productivity improvement.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Interacting with Global Engineering Leaders, Aftermarket Site Leaders, Site and Global Finance, Purchasing and Sourcing Organizations to support the deliver of an integrated projects that reduce cost, improve business performance.
– Analysis of business functions, shop operations, business metrics to provide Engineering teams focused knowledge of opportunities for improved costs and improved business metrics.
Support of ongoing performance improvement activities related to cost take out, PCPX, business improvements.
Teaming with , Puerto Rico, Mexicali, EMEA, APAC based team members to develop a strong positive approach to improving business costs and performance related to aftermarket product.
Completing key deliverables, as assigned, such as; functional site scoping projects, developing gap analysis, reviewing repair costs, and others as required.
The following activities are part of the scope:
– Requirements gathering with the Aftermarket business for deliverables (cost performance, business performance improvements related to OTTR, DOS),
-Transferring business knowledge on the R&O processes to appropriate functions
–Defining, approving and executing projects across the Aftermarket network
-Provide guidance to Engineering teams, Leadership teams on standards / functionality / opportunities
-Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep projects moving forward within the Global Template

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field.
– 2 or more years experience with project management, preferably in an engineering environment

– Experience of working with repair development, suppliers, purchasing, sourcing organizations
– Experience of working with Pricing, Finance, Material, Shop Operations
– Proven ability to program manage complex projects.
– Strong influencing skills + social relations experience
– Proven ability to communicate and operate in a complex matrix environment
– Tenacity, credibility amongst peers, results oriented, ability to support others and influence in a difficult environment
