Job Description
Fleetway is seeking a strategic and collaborative Program Manager to oversee the schedule, scope, and budget of the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Program. This role is pivotal in guiding engineering and technical delivery teams and ensuring projects are executed with quality, precision, and fiscal discipline.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Program Manager leads all program delivery activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and client-side Cost Account Managers to ensure clear direction, timely reporting, and performance that reflects Fleetway’s commitment to service excellence.
You’ll collaborate with Delivery Managers and Leads to align priorities, manage contractual obligations, and proactively address challenges across the program’s work breakdown structure (WBS) elements. Your leadership will enable the delivery team to meet current and emerging program requirements—driving progress, accountability, and results.

Responsibilities
Lead Program Planning:
Oversee financials, scope, schedule, and budget approval across all projects.
Represent the Client:
Act as the customer liaison within Fleetway, ensuring expectations are met.
Manage Contracts & Changes:
Guide contractual relationships and negotiate scope, budget, and timeline adjustments.
Direct Project Priorities:
Sequence and prioritize work across the program for effective execution.
Oversee Proposals & Estimates:
Review and approve new work scopes and associated costs.
Coordinate Scheduling:
Collaborate with schedulers to build and maintain integrated master schedules with earned value tracking.
Monitor Program Health:
Evaluate project performance, identify risks, and report forecasts for resourcing needs.
Drive Deliverables:
Ensure all work outputs meet quality, schedule, and client requirements.
Support Portfolio Oversight:
Partner with the NB Portfolio Manager on contract and subcontract management.
Align Teams:
Work with Delivery Leads to balance program goals and service delivery capacity.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business or related field
Experience & Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of progressive responsibility in Project or Program Management, ideally within technical or engineering environments
- PMP Certification considered an asset
- Eligible for security clearances
