Job Overview:
As the Project Manager at Walls Across Texas, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of various wall construction projects throughout the state. You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, schedule, and coordinate all project activities from start to finish, ensuring that all project deadlines are met
– Oversee resources and budget allocation for each project, ensuring efficient utilization and profitability
– Develop and maintain project documentation, including budgets, timelines, progress reports, and risk assessments
– Collaborate with clients to fully understand and meet their project requirements and expectations
– Manage and motivate a team of construction professionals, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals
– Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that work is completed according to plans and specifications
– Anticipate and address any potential issues or challenges that could impact project timelines or budgets
– Keep abreast of industry best practices and implement them to continually improve project delivery processes and procedures
– Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on all construction sites
– Provide timely project updates and reports to senior management
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a background in construction preferred
– Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
– Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage teams
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
– In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and techniques
– Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
– Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
– Flexibility to travel to various project sites across Texas
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
