Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead, manage, and deliver high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of construction, from initial planning and budgeting through to project completion, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Hire and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients.
- Manage change orders, cost controls, and invoice approvals.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience managing commercial or residential construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus.
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily on-site work with occasional office-based reporting.
- Ability to work extended hours and travel to project locations as needed.
