Project Manager – Mount Franklin Foods

Candidate will manage activities of assigned projects and coordinate tasks of the projects. Manage daily activities of assigned projects and coordinate the main task of the projects with all areas involved. Support the Maintenance and Engineering Strategy of the company. Research and implement technologies that result in lower manufacturing costs, lower process variability, and higher manufacturing capability. Validate effectiveness of new equipment. Coordinate manufacturing site engineering projects, track project status and prepare summaries to drive CapEx governance. Coordinate meetings, schedule updates, submit deliverables, and address delays and risks of active projects. Monitor project costs vs. budgets. Prepare and complete cost estimates for projects. Lead engineering design requirements. Maintain the metrics of the engineering projects. Ensure that the project documentation is completed. Maintain relationships with suppliers and other external collaborators or contributors. Work with the Operations Department to manage local CapEx projects and initiatives.  Support SQF (Safe Quality Food) compliance and goals. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory product quality, sanitation standards, food safety, employee safety, and environmental standards.

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering as well as two years’ experience in engineering positions. Automation/PLC, technical multi project management, engineering technical services, packaging, ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing process optimization and continuous improvement.
