Job Description
Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice & directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator.
Focused on spine pathology and related musculoskeletal disorders.
Independent outpatient clinic caseload focused on spine-related conditions.
Assist with injections, procedures, and surgery as desired/needed.
No nights, weekends, or overnight call obligations.
Work with experienced spine-focused orthopaedic surgeons in a collaborative model.
Performs history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provider.
Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up.
Patient education and support.
Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
Other duties as necessary under direction of Provider/s and Administration.
AS EXPECTED WITH ALL HEALTHCARE POSITIONS, MUST ADHERE TO HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN REGULATIONS AND MAINTAIN ASSOCIATED WORKPLACE TRAININGS.
