Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Marquardt Group

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2–3 years focused on Microsoft security stack
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender suite
  
• Hands-on experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM,EDR/XDR/NDR, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
  
• Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management using Microsoft tools
  
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Security are a plus
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  

• Good communication skills in English
  

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Microsoft security products to protect endpoints, networks, and cloud environments
  
• Lead incident detection, response, and investigation using Microsoft security tools
  
• Develop and fine-tune security policies, detection rules, and alerting mechanisms
  
• Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis based on Microsoft telemetry and logs
  
• Collaborate with internal teams on secure design, configuration hardening, and risk mitigation
  
• Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements based on Microsoft security best practices
  
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
  
• Educate and train staff on information system security best practices
