Part-Time Nurse Practitioner Position – Centurion Health

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. 

We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center, located in Baltimore, Maryland.  This is a part-time position. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months’ prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. 

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.  The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be required to participate in the call rotation for their region.

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland
• Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months’ experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting

 Available Shift

• Saturday/Sunday
• 8 am – 4:30 pm
