Project Manager

Leap29 are looking for a versatile Project Manager to join our clients growing team in Italy, overseeing the full lifecycle of solar C&I projects.

My client is a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe and globally. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on C&I and energy efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and technical development of solar PV projects.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with EPC contractors.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring compliance with Italian authorisation procedures (e.g., DSO, GSE, municipalities).
• Supervise contractors and monitor project progress to ensure quality delivery.
• Monitor operational assets, focusing on performance, financial returns, and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee and coordinate O&M activities with contractors.

Qualifications:

• 3-8 years of experience in project management, within the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Knowledge of Italian regulatory processes and familiarity with key bodies (DSO, GSE, etc.).
• Technical knowledge of solar PV systems, with the ability to oversee design and engineering aspects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Ability to work independently and handle diverse tasks in a fast-growing team.
