This is a remote position.

One of our clients is looking to engage a Project Manager

The project manager brings extensive experience in implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including leading end-to-end business case development, managing complex RFP processes, and working closely with large software vendors and Systems Integrators. The role requires a strong track record of engaging both business and technology stakeholders, including at the VP and executive levels.

Additions in Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience leading end-to-end ERP implementation projects. Proven track record managing medium to large-scale ERP initiatives with complex integrations, data migrations, and multi-phase rollouts while aligning solutions with strategic business goals through close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Led high-visibility programs involving multi-million-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide system transformations. Experienced in executive-level engagement, including VP and C-suite communication and governance.

Eight years of experience leading complex projects, including implementation, business process re-engineering, systems integration, data migration and organizational change management, including 3-4 Years of experience in engaging both business and technology stakeholders, including at the VP and executive levels.

Additions in Nature and Scope: 
  • Responsible for driving key governance forums in alignment with the Major Programs Framework, ensuring effective oversight and decision-making. Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive project status updates across various governance bodies, including the Executive Steering Committee.
  • Responsible for leading end-to-end business case development based on program requirements, ensuring strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in. Manages complex RFP processes, including vendor evaluations, as well as SOW development and oversight to ensure clarity, compliance, and successful execution. Oversees critical deliverables and tracks payment milestones to maintain program momentum and contractual adherence.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE COULD INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

·        Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in delivering enterprise level projects that result in corporate / cultural change

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience with managing large vendor delivery during project execution

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing the full project management lifecycle with projects, including managing large vendor delivery during project execution including Migration and Integration of legacy data streams.

·        PMP Certification

·        Ability to manage complex project issues and risks

·        Ability to manage project financials, and change management

·        Familiarity with business cases and benefit realization

·        Experience working with Organizational Change Management to introduce corporate level changes

·        Proven experience in team building and negotiating deliverables and timelines with the project team

·        Ability to translate team inputs and recommendations into an efficient project delivery plan

·        Ability to work with / negotiate with multiple stakeholders producing positive outcomes that would minimize delivery risk and/or issues

·        Must have the ability to work through complex issues to achieve a successful out come

·        Ability to adjust to the corporate delivery processes

·        Experience working with key stakeholders in project charter development

·        Ability to manage multiple ongoing streams in parallel

·        Proven experience managing complex projects

·        Experience working on COTS related projects is an asset

·        Experience working on multiple stream projects with multiple vendor interdependencies is an asset

·        Microsoft Project Online experience is an asset

·        Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is required

·        Experience in the auto insurance industry (Property and Casualty) is an asset

·        Experience in Insurance and/or licensing is an asset

·        Experience in working with Manitoba government entities is an asset

·        Willing to adapt to and follow the project management processes utilized with the Client environment

·        Manage the project during the initiation, design, development, implementation, and operations start-up by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters. 

·        Formulate statements of problems; establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof. 

·        Define and document the objectives for the project; determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team. 

·        Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle. 

·        Meet stakeholders and other project managers and state problems in a form capable of being solved.

·        Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work with a variety of project management tools. 

·        Ensure all deliverables and milestones are completed as planned.

·        Manage project change requests effectively through the approved change management process

·        Develop and support project baseline schedules. 

·        Develop and maintain work breakdown structures. 

·        Produce appropriate reports and identify scheduling and/or dependency issues. 

·        Conduct and provide critical path analysis. 

·        Assist in scheduling co-ordination efforts with internal and external project stakeholders.

·        Project sign-off.

Normal Business Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (CT) (8 billable hours per day).
