Project Manager

What You’ll Do
As Project Manager, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety expectations. You’ll oversee every phase of the project lifecycle—from budgeting and permitting to construction and final handover.
Key Responsibilities

Lead assigned capital projects, aligning project outcomes with company goals

Manage planning, budgeting, permitting, design, construction, and closeout

Collaborate across departments to capture and integrate operational needs

Oversee performance of consultants and contractors

Monitor timelines, financials, and potential risks

Approve documentation such as RFIs, change orders, and invoices

Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met

Support procurement efforts including RFP development and contract negotiations

Lead stakeholder communication and conduct regular project meetings

Drive contingency planning and ensure proper project closeout procedures
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

3–7 years of experience managing capital or infrastructure projects (aviation or transportation experience a plus)

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills

Strong knowledge of project management tools and MS Office Suite

Familiarity with FAA regulations or airport operations is a plus
-
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Existing credentials for access to Chicago-area airports are helpful but not required
Physical Requirements

Comfortable working in both office and active construction environments

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions

Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, and construction-related noise
Compensation and Benefits

Good Faith Salary Range: The annual starting salary for this position is $90,000 – $100,000 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
