The Project Manager is responsible for leading projectmanagement efforts for assigned projects and areas of responsibility. In this role the Project Manager isresponsible for liaising between technical and business teams, leading projectstrategy and execution, contributing analytics to business and developmentefforts, responsibility for overseeing project success metrics includingbudget, time, scope and others.
In addition to project management activities, idealcandidates will have experience in requirements gathering and analysis, deepknowledge of the product and project development lifecycle, experience inbusiness strategy and implementation, an understanding of databases, andexperience working with teams in complex technical environments.
Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills with consumers, third parties, and members at all levelsof the organization including executive management.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through a full SDLC.
- Utilize Scrum and Agile project methodologies.
- Develop supporting project documentation and projectreporting for all stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and actively measure them.
- Actively communicate scope changes.
- Document and manage all change request activities relevantto project.
- Evaluate new work requests, gather requirements, and draftworkplans.
- Analyze business, technical and stakeholder requirements forprojects; map these to best practices and consumer needs to create successfulproducts and initiatives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive cost savingand/or revenue enhancing initiatives within the company.
- Assist in the development of other business and technologydocuments including business cases, product reviews and strategies, marketanalysis, system reviews and others.
- Proactively communicate project updates, issues, and otherstatus items to the appropriate organizational level.
Education
Four-year college degree preferably in Mathematics,Engineering, Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field isrequired.
Work Experience:
At least three years in a Project Management or relatedrole. Candidates with experience in eCommerce and banking/financial servicesindustry are preferred.
Other Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Proficiency inUML, HTML, SQL, Visio, MS Project, and Photoshop is preferred.
