Are you a proactive Paralegal looking for a meaningful role in a dynamic law firm? We are hiring an experienced Paralegal to assist to work in our Estate planning and Civil Litigation teams. Our firm is small enough for you to make a real impact but still offer the security and benefits you deserve. You will work closely with the owner, interact with clients daily, and help shape the future of our growing practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead attorney with Estate Planning and Probate matters.
- NJ civil procedure experience required; PA exposure is a plus.
- Bonus if you have experience in contractual litigation.
Other Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Perform case-related management and administrative functions as assigned
- Collaborate on management of firm calendar of events
- Interact with the clients, courts and opposing parties
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Previous experience with document and/or case management software, including time and billing is required
- Knowledge in Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is a plus
- Conveys confidence in person, phone and in Court
- Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their challenging times
- Proactive and organized team player
- Go-getter with a strong work ethic
Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of recent experience in Wills and Estate matters.
- Familiarity with NJ civil procedure (required), PA civil procedure (preferred).
