We are hiring for the following:

Position:    Nurse Practitioner

Schedule: PRN

Location: within the Commonwealth of Virginia

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and on-call services as assigned by the facility and/or company needs
• Accept staffing assignments and perform other related duties as required
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, visitors, medical personnel and corrections staff
• Maintains respect, dignity and confidentiality of patient medical information/history
• Promote good working relationships among staff and between other disciplines and departments
• Promote excellence in patient care
• Assume individual accountability for own conduct and maintenance of professional appearance
• Approach changes in a positive manner, motivate staff to work as a team, accept constructive criticism and learn from it

Qualifications

• Must hold APRN/CNS from the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Must have state prescriptive authority (if applicable) and hold (or obtain) DEA Registration
• Must hold certification as a Nurse Practitioner from ANCC or other body recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required prior to start date (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved)
