THE ROLE
We are seeking a Paralegal for a multinational industrial company in Switzerland. The Paralegal will provide comprehensive support in corporate governance, legal entity management, and process optimization. This role is essential for ensuring compliance, efficient operations, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with the legal operations team and report to the Head of Legal Operations. Proficiency in both English and German is required for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare shareholder resolutions and proxies for Swiss entities
  • Organize and document Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs)
  • Coordinate the registration of signatories with the Commercial Registry
  • Respond to corporate information requests
  • Draft, track, and manage Powers of Attorney (POAs) with proper internal approvals and record-keeping
  • Provide documentation and legal support for Know Your Customer (KYC) requests, including shareholder structure confirmations
  • Maintain and update corporate records in legal entity management systems (e.g., GEMS)
  • Support legal operations initiatives such as implementing digital tools (e.g., for POAs or digital signatures)
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as tax and finance by preparing reports related to corporate structure changes
     

YOUR PROFILE

  • Legal Studies or Paralegal Certificate highly preferred
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proactive and independent work ethic
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • User-focused mindset with a keen interest in systems and continuous improvement
  • Experience with ticketing tools, service desk processes, and basic system administration tasks is a plus
