Employment Law Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced employment law paralegal with 3+ years of experience working at a US employment law firm. You will be joining a successful employment law firm. You will be permanently assigned to one client and will work exclusively with them. This is a long-term, permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and revise legal documents such as demand letters, complaints, and filings
- Analyze case information to identify causes of action and employment law violations
- Prepare and send second notices and follow-up documentation
- Conduct legal research to support case strategy and document preparation
- Professionally communicate with clients to gather case details and provide updates
- Manage case files using legal software and MS Office
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure the timely completion of legal tasks
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and legal compliance
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working at a U.S.-based employment law firm
- Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Proven experience drafting legal documents, especially demand letters and complaints
- Strong understanding of employment law and causes of action
- Skilled in drafting supplemental documents and sending second notices
- Excellent client communication and professional English copywriting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with MerusCase is a plus, but not required
- Must have a quiet home office, reliable internet, and power backup
