Powerhouse Paralegal Wanted in Miami Lakes! Great Pay, Health & Retirement Benefits, Generous Paid Time Off, Opportunities for Continuing Education, & a Team That Values You

Do you want to help people navigate one of the most difficult and life-altering times of their lives?

Do you want to fight for fairness, uncover the truth, and be the dependable right hand to a team that truly cares?

We’re a business-minded, fast-growing boutique family law firm in Miami Lakes, and we’re looking for a Powerhouse Paralegal to join our team and help clients move from chaos to clarity, working directly with the owner.

Our mission is to make a positive impact on people’s lives by guiding them through emotionally challenging times towards a brighter future.

This isn’t your typical paralegal job. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, doesn’t flinch under pressure, and genuinely loves being the backbone of a legal team that gets results.

If the following resonates with you, you might be the perfect fit for us:

  • You think in terms of outlines, chronologies, and indexes.
  • You see an opportunity for organization where other people see a mess.
  • You can juggle multiple deadlines with grace and precision.
  • You understand that sometimes it’s OK to leave a message, but sometimes you gotta keep trying until you speak to a person.
  • You are an amazing scheduler with a sickening degree of attention to detail.
  • You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet.
  • Your middle name is “No Drama.”
  • You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly.
  • You do not think scanning and copying are “beneath you.”
  • You excel at bringing order to chaos.
  • You have a thirst for knowledge and continuously seek ways to enhance efficiency.

This is a full-time in-office position requiring 37-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime needed to meet court deadlines or trial preparations. Initial compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for performance-based increases.

We seek meticulous applicants with outstanding communication skills. Submit your resume today to be part of our team!

  • Ensure completion of 30 hours of billable work weekly, including daily time entry
  • Draft and electronically file court documents with minimal grammatical and formatting errors
  • Manage scheduling and calendaring of hearings, mediations, and depositions
  • Collaborate with clients to collect financial documents and prepare for production
  • Demonstrate the capability to oversee cases from inception to resolution
  • Proficient in handling mandatory disclosures and meeting discovery deadlines
  • Organize financial records for trial presentation
  • Calculate child support guidelines accurately
  • Provide assistance to the assigned attorney as necessary
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a law firm setting, handling primarily family law cases as a Paralegal or a position with similar responsibilities
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
  • Knows how to calculate court deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to speak to clients with compassion and understanding
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required
