The Foreign Filing Paralegal supports foreign patent processes by collaborating with attorneys, staff, and technology specialists to ensure timely and accurate foreign intellectual property filings. Key responsibilities include managing docket deadlines, preparing and filing patent applications (PCT, foreign, US national phase), and communicating with clients, foreign associates, and patent offices. The role involves preparing legal correspondence, obtaining necessary client documents, estimating costs, maintaining files, and reviewing work for accuracy before submission. The paralegal must be proficient with USPTO and international patent systems, including PAIR and e-filing, and possess strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.

Experience required includes at least five years of patent prosecution, with knowledge of PCT and foreign rules, and familiarity with IPDAS and Foundation IP tools preferred. Flexibility to work overtime and a mix of in-office (60%) and remote work (40%) is expected. The position offers a salary of $120,000 to $130,000 in major U.S. regions.
