The Role

As a Patent Paralegal, you will:

• Prepare and submit responses to EPO communications, including liaising on translations and official documentation.
• Handle grant notifications and validations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft Powers of Attorney and managing name change/assignment records.
• Monitor legal deadlines and keeping case files and records up to date.
• Communicate directly with clients, foreign counsel, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience working with patent and design filings, including EP and international matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Proven ability to manage complex deadlines and organise large volumes of data.
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a busy, supportive team.
• Familiarity with IP systems and procedures; CIPA qualification is a plus but not essential.
