Project Manager – Dubai Investments Group

Responsible for managing the project construction work in compliance with DIR standards and quality

Responsibilities

   1. Managed the construction supervision consultant to attend the site related matters, enforce safety measures, and monitor progress and quality.
2-    Liaise with the authorities to expedite and facilitate the final inspections and the release of commercial services (power, water and drainage) and completion certificates.
3-    Ensure that implementation of projects via third parties are implemented in compliance with company standards and quality.
4-    Conduct daily site visits with the supervision consultant and contractor project manager to witness sites progress, manpower and quality.
5-    Prepare a weekly & monthly progress report.
6-    Review sub-contractors’ qualification documents and conduct factory visits and meetings to establish clear understanding of scope and time projections.
7-    Review and follow up with consultant and subcontractor all contractor submittals such as Materials, Drawings … etc on daily basis. 
8-    Review on a regular basis the availability of materials at site as per the project timeline.
9-    Ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects & clients’ satisfaction.
10-    Follow up on the Supervision Consultant and Contractor to clear snags and defects.
11-    Manage on-going operational support and maintenance to clients.
12-    Ensure that implementation of projects via third parties are implemented in compliance with DIR standards and quality.
13-    Attend the Request for Change Meeting and make sure to issue the Engineer instruction the contractor in a concise manner and clear scope after the approval of direct manager.
14-    Build and maintain strong relationship with third party suppliers/subcontractors for warranty conditions and support requirements after delivery.
15-    Perform any other related job duties to be instructed by direct manager.
