Job Description

Summary:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project and Program Management, preferably overall 10 years of IT experience.
  
• Leads large and global IT Program/ Projects as the overall Program & Project Manager or managing IT deliveries for a Change Delivery/Software Delivery project. Plans, mobilizes, and directs projects of medium to high complexity and scale from inception to closure.
  
• IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of one or more projects proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, team, outcomes, and benefits. Projects can be standalone or form part of a program.
  
• Will work closely with Global Portfolio Management Office to align and prioritize his projects/programs with Group strategy programs.
  
• IT Project Manager will lead a project team often comprising of members from across the Global Business / Global Functions to achieve the defined business goal. Where projects are large and complex enough.
  
• IT Project Manager will need to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders and partners, ranging from Engineers to Senior Executives and external Third Parties.
  
• Experience in managing any large IT modernization program including cloud technology, APIs, Data migration etc.
  
• Working experience in Scrum environment is highly desirable.
  

Certifications:

• PMP/ Prince- 2/PGMP Certification
  
• Exposure in Agile Methodologies including SAFe; preferably SAFe agilest certificated
  
• Exposure in cloud technology/ Cloud architect or similar certification is highly desirable
  

Primary Skills

Experience required:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project and Program Management, preferably overall 10 years of IT experience.
  
• Extensive program & project management skills and experience of managing large and complex projects.
  
• Strong people manager and broad experience in managing large teams of different work streams Exposure to manager diverse global team is desired.
  
• Multiple strong examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes -a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes.
  
• In depth experience of working in a banking environment.
  
• Good stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realization.
  
• Implementation, change management and benefits realization.
  

Secondary Skills

• Experience in managing any large IT transformation programs/projects including cloud technology, APIs, Data migration etc., is desirable.
