Summary Of Position
This position will support the work of the Carsey School’s Center for Social Policy in Practice. The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, designing, scheduling, and implementing activities related to the research activities of a major social service evaluation and research project. Duties will include acting as the Center liaison to nonprofit partners participating in the evaluation, focusing especially on coordinating the provision of technical assistance from the Center to those partners. Specific duties include light research duties, like identifying and organizing background materials, literature, and survey instruments, and the writing of reports, as well as traditional project management around material management, deadline tracking, scheduling, and working with team leaders to plan a project trajectory. It is imperative that the candidate for this role be well organized. The right candidate would also be excited to work on a set of social service-related projects with real-world, real-time impact. The possibility of converting to a full-time position eventually may exist for the right candidate. Work schedule flexible; potential for hybrid or work considered for the right candidate.

Required Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in appropriate academic discipline and three years of experience related to project management. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a formal degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of child and family social service systems and/or policy landscape Knowledge of Northern New England Research or evaluation experience Knowledge of grant- and grant-funded research processes Skills in knowledge translation, data visualization, or visual design
