Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction within the operations team to support organizational objectives and goals.
  • Actively engage as key personnel in bid efforts for the DIU RAINS, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee and participate in all phases of proposal development, including planning, coordination, content creation, and review.
  • Lead proposal preparation activities, ensuring quality, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Serve as a senior program leader within the Research, Development, and Engineering (RDE) division, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to analyst and program management staff.
  • Facilitate effective team communication and collaboration, promoting best practices and operational efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers, identifying opportunities for project expansion within the gizmo program.
  • Pursue and develop new customer relationships, focusing on contract growth and securing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure proposal and program management activities align with organizational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the program, leveraging insights and data to optimize performance and outcomes.

 

Requirements

 

Desired experience:

  • Management experience for large-scale contracts.
  • Experience as the PM of a FEDSIM contract.
  • Leadership experience.
  • FAC PMM Level III Government Career Path.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) experience.
  • Within the last 15 years, possess a minimum of 10 years of experience working on DoD service-specific and/ or Joint-Service projects.
  • Within the last 10 years, possess a minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects that are of a similar scope and complexity. One of the projects managed must have included intelligence or special operations support elements.
  • Possess a current certification in at least one of the following at time of proposal submission and maintain the certification throughout the life of the task order: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or PMI Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Air Force experience, especially with AFRL or AFSOC.

Desired education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 10 years of experience providing technical support in a related area to one of the support tasks listed above, or a master’s degree and 8 years of experience providing technical support in a related area to one of the support tasks listed above.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position overseeing a team of at least 5 subordinates in the execution of technical, engineering, or intelligence tasks.
  • Preferably a Master’s degree from an accredited university.
