Senior Agentic AI Engineer / Data Scientist – Mavvrik

Location: India, Full-time, Remote

We’re seeking a visionary Senior Agentic AI Engineer / Data Scientist to lead and shape our Generative AI roadmap. In this strategic leadership role, you will define Mavvrik’s GenAI vision and spearhead the development of an intelligent AI co-pilot that proactively identifies cost-optimization opportunities, flags anomalies, and monitors daily cloud spend. You’ll also build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team focused on delivering the next generation of FinOps-driven AI agents.

Responsibilities

GenAI Roadmap & Strategy

• Craft a long-term vision for embedding Generative AI across Mavvrik’s products.

• Identify and prioritize high-ROI use cases for LLMs and agentic frameworks in cloud cost optimization.

Co-Pilot & AI Agent Development

• Architect, prototype, and deploy intelligent agents (co-pilots) that alert on cost anomalies, recommend optimizations, and deliver daily spend insights.

• Leverage LLMs (OpenAI, LLAMA, Mistral, Anthropic) and agent frameworks (Langfuse, AutoGen, Google Agent SDK) to build conversational interfaces and advanced reasoning flows.

• Integrate AI gateways/proxies and telemetry tools (Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry) for real-time data ingestion and observability.

Technical Excellence & Integration

• Design scalable data pipelines, model training platforms, and MLOps best practices.

• Seamlessly embed generative models into Mavvrik’s architecture, ensuring robust performance, security, and compliance.

FinOps & Cloud Insight Alignment

• Apply deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, cost models, and FinOps workflows to drive agent feature priorities.

• Validate that AI-driven recommendations adhere to industry benchmarks and deliver measurable savings.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Recruit, lead, and mentor AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to incorporate user feedback and evolving cloud cost trends.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions at scale.

• GenAI & Agentic Expertise: Hands-on building LLM-based applications and agents using OpenAI, LLAMA, Mistral, Anthropic, Langfuse, AutoGen, Google Agent SDK.

• Cloud & FinOps Knowledge: Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP (and OCI) cost structures, tagging strategies, and FinOps principles.

• Telemetry & Observability: Familiarity with Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry for real-time metrics and logs ingestion.

• Technical Mastery: Proficient in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, MLflow/Kubeflow; strong data engineering skills.

• Leadership & Communication: Proven track record hiring and mentoring teams; exceptional at presenting technical work to non-technical audiences.

• Innovation Mindset: Passionate about staying on the cutting edge of GenAI, agentic architectures, and cloud optimization.
