Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute patent and trademark prosecution filings across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with all formalities and documentation requirements related to IP filings.
  • Maintain and update IP docketing systems for pending applications globally.
  • Generate and analyze reports, dockets, and relevant IP metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with IP Managers and legal professionals across multiple time zones.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IP operations team.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in associated or complimentary academic field

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution, preferably in a global or multinational environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of patent and trademark filing procedures, formalities, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, international work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint).
