Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute patent and trademark prosecution filings across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with all formalities and documentation requirements related to IP filings.
- Maintain and update IP docketing systems for pending applications globally.
- Generate and analyze reports, dockets, and relevant IP metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with IP Managers and legal professionals across multiple time zones.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IP operations team.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in associated or complimentary academic field
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in patent and trademark prosecution, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of patent and trademark filing procedures, formalities, and documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a flexible, international work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint).
