Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, formatting, and reviewing pleadings, notices, and correspondence.
- Managing case files, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Conducting legal research, compiling case law, and summarising judgments.
- Liaising with counsel, clients, and experts.
- Assisting attorneys with litigation processes, including insurance claims, commercial disputes, and settlement agreements.
- Maintaining accurate records, billing, and document management systems.
Requirements
- Paralegal Diploma / LLB
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a litigation environment, with specific exposure to commercial and insurance litigation.
- Strong knowledge of High Court and Magistrates’ Court procedures.
- Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Lexpro, LegalSuite, GhostPractice, or similar).
- Excellent drafting, research, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle multiple matters simultaneously.
