Introduction

A leading Cape Town law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to manage property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations. You’ll ensure smooth coordination between clients, attorneys, banks, and the Deeds Office while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare conveyancing documents.
  • Manage end-to-end property transfers and registrations.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, Deeds Office, SARS, and municipalities.
  • Conduct property searches and handle compliance processes.
  • Provide client updates and finalise accounts.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric (Paralegal diploma advantageous).
  • Minimum 6 years’ conveyancing experience (transfers essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Deeds Office, property law & external stakeholder processes.
  • Proficient in Lexis Convey / CMS.
  • Excellent communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
