Position:             Conveyancing Paralegal      
Location:            East London-Central Line

Overview:

Because of the above ethos, they have an ongoing pipeline of business from High End property developers, Commercial Property Companies, and Landlords and close links to banks and financial institutions in the property markets. They have City & West End clients dealing with big ticket conveyancing deals.
To keep pace with demand they are seeking a new Paralegal with a solid conveyancing background, ideally with Commercial as well as residential experience. The ideal candidate is likely to have at least 1-3 years experience and be comfortable supporting a busy qualified solicitors.
Duties:
• Act for commercial landlords and tenants, residential and commercial property developers, and property investors on all aspects of commercial and residential property
• Investigating and reporting to you on the property, including carrying out appropriate property searches, raising appropriate enquiries of the seller and considering their responses.
• Advising on heads of terms summarising the proposed purchase transaction
• Dealing with all the contractual issues arising concerning the purchase to ensure that all necessary contractual protections are in place.
• Reporting to any lender supplying funds to assist with the purchase and dealing with any specific requirements that they might have.
• Acquisitions and disposals of business premises, commercial leases (acting for both landlord and tenant) and secured lending.
• Development schemes and development work
• Advising, in conjunction with other professional advisers, on the structure of the transaction. Is it most appropriate to buy the property in your own name/joint name, through a company or an LLP?


Requirements

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 1-3 years of conveyancing experience ideally with commercial as well as residential deals
• Able to work on your caseload without too much ongoing help.
• Relevant experience as above, specifically in commercial conveyancing
• Able to work from East London near a Central Line underground station.
5 days a week in the office. No sponsorship available.
