- Case Management: Serve as the backbone of our legal team by meticulously managing complex litigation cases, including organizing documents, maintaining comprehensive case files, and tracking critical deadlines.
- Factual Investigation/Research: Conduct thorough factual research and investigations to support case strategy and preparation.
- Document Preparation: Draft and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and speed.
- Discovery: Play a critical role in the discovery process by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing documents and deposition transcripts to uncover key information.
- Client Interaction: Act as a professional and effective liaison between our attorneys and clients, witnesses, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Court Filings: Ensure the timely and accurate filing of legal documents with courts and agencies, guaranteeing compliance with all local and federal rules.
- Trial Support: Provide essential support during trials, from preparing trial exhibits to assisting with courtroom logistics.
- Collections Expertise: Extensive experience in business litigation with a deep, practical understanding of the litigation process from start to finish.
- Litigation Experience: A minimum of 3 years of business litigation experience.
- Certifications: Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
- Proven Work Ethic: A demonstrated history of strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering work ethic.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), online investigative tools, and AI.
- Resilience: The ability to manage multiple tasks and strict deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
