The firm seeks a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of complex IP litigation. Based in New York City, this role involves managing case files, court filings, document review and production, docket management, drafting discovery responses, deposition and trial preparation, cite-checking, and mentoring junior paralegals. Many cases are high stakes and heard out of state or before the International Trade Commission, requiring travel.
Key responsibilities include assisting with invalidity and infringement contentions, claim construction briefs, Markman hearings, preparing charts and indices, coordinating with vendors, and managing daily case tasks.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and preferably 10+ years of experience in IP litigation, along with a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, LexisNexis, Westlaw, iManage, and eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Opus 2, CaseMap) is required. Experience with USPTO Patent Center, PTAB, ITC, Federal Circuit litigation, and Hatch-Waxman or life sciences IP litigation is highly desirable.
The firm offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 plus benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, parental leave, life insurance, FSAs, and performance bonuses.
